Everything about coordinating with DIVISI was seamless and easy! I was very pleased with their performance and professionalism!

I knew from the start that I wanted some sort of strings at our wedding. I was referred to Divisi Strings by my venue and I am so glad I decided to look into them further. For us, it was a great bang for our buck. I went with the Amp’d String Quartet which I used for the prelude, ceremony, and cocktail hour. They were absolutely phenomenal. I received so many compliments about the music and talent they showed. I also used their DJ & Emcee services. The dance floor was packed all night! We even had guests trying to pay the DJ to play longer! It was so nice to have everything music related from the same company. Tony, the manager, was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Overall, Divisi Strings is extremely professional, creative, unique, and truly outstanding!

My now wife and I had our wedding ceremony in the Butterfly Garden. While beautiful, it does not have a sound system. I was initially thinking of using a Bluetooth speaker or boombox, but my fiance disabused me of this notion. Once I regained consciousness, she strongly suggested a string duo to complement the beauty of the location. Our excellent wedding planner, Stephanie Tan at Peachy Events (who we highly recommend), suggested Divisi. We met with them and they suggested a string duo. They were very professional and easy to deal with. We simply selected songs (classic, pop, etc.) from their list. We could have also had songs converted to strings but did not use that option. During our wedding ceremony, the duo was very professional and perfect! They played contemporary music while the guests waited, wedding music for my bride and I, and My Universe (our song) on the way out. Our guests really loved them and this - combined with the Butterfly Garden and beautiful flowers for Linda and Secret Floral Garden - really made it feel even more ethereal in the butterfly garden! Overall, HIGHLY recommended if you would like to complement a beautiful location with beautiful music!

The AMP'd String Quartet play our wedding ceremony on 7/1/23. They were so incredible. I cannot say enough great things about them. They brought all of my Bridgerton dreams to life haha. Thank you so much for making our ceremony so incredible. We will never forget it!

So obviously this is going to be a good review If we start at 5 stars. I had the Divisi AMP’D string quartet and singer (Tenor male ,my choice) for my ceremony music. If you read nothing else, BOOK THEM. If it’s between getting a group of them and another centerpiece, BOOK THEM. They made my ceremony absolutely magical sounding. I had a list of music for the prelude that kept changing and anytime I would call Tony put my anxieties to rest. As for sound quality: CINEMATIC. The tenor sounded wonderful enough for me to not notice my caterwauling uncles during the Hymns Great is thy faithfulness + How Great Thou Art. Their arrangement for my bridal entry of All I Ask of you was *chef’s kiss*. Super professional with time as well as appearance.

Divisi strings + DJ Gonz were our favorite vendors of our wedding! I got married 1 year ago and I am still getting compliments from my family and friends on how great the Amp'd quartet and Gonz were. Tony and Gonz were easy to communicate with during our initial meetings and ensured all of the little details were correct. The quartet had a plethora of songs to choose from and were really helpful in guiding us in planning the flow of our ceremony. DJ GONZ was amazing! I didn't even get a chance to speak to him during the wedding, but he really understood the vibe and songs we were going for (we gave him a playlist to give him an idea of the music we wanted). He read the room so well, playing a variety of songs for different generations and kept our guests dancing all night long! Highly professional company and I would recommend them to anyone.

So glad we hired Divisi for our wedding. The live music was a beautiful edition to our ceremony, and everyone enjoyed their pop playlist at our cocktail hour. Divisi’s system was really organized, so choosing playlists and creating timelines was painless. They did not disappoint!

Hands down, the absolute BEST live music!! As a wedding coordinator, I often saw Divisi Strings play at weddings almost every weekend and they are SO talented! I am impressed with how many songs they can play because it seems like they can play anything! When I got engaged, I knew I wanted them to play my ceremony music and chose the string duo. I had them play three songs, and I absolutely was so happy that everything was perfect! I will continue to recommend them!!

Divisi was one of our top vendors on our wedding day! They provided a quartet and a trumpeter for our traditional church wedding. They worked amazingly with our organist, and they played the music I chose oh so beautifully. The quality you get for the price you pay is amazing. I would recommend this group to anyone for any event needing elegant, majestic music.

Divisi Strings Quartet was the perfect touch to our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were very communicative and prompted. The music was beautiful. It was exactly what we dreamed, and their repertoire of songs is large and diverse! They played every song that we requested and guests cannot stop raving about the fun experience and whimsical mood Divisi transported them into.

We hired the String Quartet for my daughter's wedding. Every note played was BEAUTIFUL ! Their music set the tone for the whole lovely ceremony. They were professional, on time (early!), and skilled musicians. We were VERY impressed with them.

I first heard—and fell in love with—Divisi Strings in the airport (Harmony in the Air) while waiting for my flight, long before we were even engaged. Manager Tony was so helpful in working through the timeline of my curated playlist to make sure everything was perfect for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone loved them; they were a classy touch and a semi-splurge that I would do again in a heartbeat.

Divisi played our pre-ceremony music at the church where our ceremony was and sounded wonderful! Their questionnaire and payment processes were easy to follow as well. Highly recommend them if you want a string quartet at your wedding!

We knew when we heard them at a venue tour that we'd have to hire them, and they were fantastic. The music selection process was easy, and the day of musicians were professional, well dressed, and played beautifully. Highly recommended!

10/10 Our string quartet was beautiful! That is really what set the mood for the ceremony and was incredible. All of our guests raved about how special it was and how beautiful the music was. I will admit that my communication fell through towards the end of our wedding planning but I did the research and looked on Youtube which songs of theirs I knew I wanted. They included all of my choices as well as some fillers. They reached out to me for our style and preferences then they did the rest. It was a fairytale to have a string quartet!

Divisi Strings is, without a doubt, the best in the business! They were professional and easy to work with. We had the AMP’D quartet play the pre-ceremony and ceremony music at our wedding last March. They have a huge repertoire list and each song we selected was played to perfection! I have been a fan of Divisi for about 10 years now and have always dreamed of having them perform at my wedding. On 4/22/2022, we FINALLY had our dream come true. We paid the travel fees to have them travel to our wedding in Dripping Springs (sure did!) and they did NOT disappoint. DIVISI Strings kept us and all our guests entertained the entire evening! We had a string quartet play for the ceremony, social hour and through dinner! We received multiple compliments from guests on how much they loved the strings and the song choices! After dinner, the DIVISI DJ (Corey) took over and we hardly left the dance floor!

Highlight of the day! Beautifully played our ceremony and cocktail hour, filling the whole time with professionally performed songs, including all our favorites. They even learned a new song and accompanied the groom's mother in her singing of "How Does A Moment Last Forever" by Celine Dion. I am event planner (DFINE EVENTS) and have coordinated several events with Divisi Strings. For every event they are always, prepared, professional, flexible, and overall a joy to work with. Tony is always so helpful and organized. The live musicians always sound beautiful and the DJs/MCs (especially Gonzo & Corey) know how to get a crowd dancing. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Divisi did a wonderful job playing the music, it was beautiful. Their rendition of "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel while I walked down the aisle made me cry even more it was so beautiful.

I booked both the amp quartet and DJ Gonz for my wedding this past March and they were amazing! I had 2 songs I requested that wasn't in their repository and they played them BEAUTIFULLY!! Family is still talking about how movie-like the ceremony and cocktail hour was! As for the DJ, he kept everyone on the dance floor, which was no easy feat having to entertain the old, the young, some Caribbean, east and west coast people! It was perfect and I'd book again for any event of this magnitude.

I ran into Divisi strings at the Bridal Expo. They were playing popular songs on the strings which sounded awesome. I walked up and started talking to Tony about what the quartet could do and suddenly they started playing “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” and I was sold! They played our ceremony and cocktail hour and did an amazing job! They helped us pick songs for the ceremony and had a very extensive playlist. They even agreed to do a special song with my husbands mother during the ceremony. She plays the flute so they provided her some music and rehearsed before the ceremony together. Very responsive to emails. Very happy we booked them!

We booked Divisi Strings as a surprise for our daughter's wedding. She was so thrilled when she walked down the aisle and realized that her selection was not a recorded version of her special song, but a beautiful string trio. Shelli and JD were so accommodating as we changed our original plans -- all because of COVID -- from April to September and then finally to August. I love Divisi Strings! As a professional opera singer who is also in the events industry, I have a high standard for live classical music and Divisi exceeded my expectations! My husband and I hired their string quartet for our pre-ceremony music and processional. They created a custom arrangement of a famous opera duet (two of our groomsmen are also professional opera singers) and let me tell you: MAGIC. I booked their services for my ceremony and had them play classical music while my guests found their seats and for all my ceremony music. Absolute Perfection! I heard Divisi at a wedding many years prior to my own and knew the day I got married, I had to have them there. They were incredibly easy to work with, very responsive and accommodating to my wishes. We've received so many follow up comments from guests about their presence at the wedding. We hired Divisi Strings - Amp'd Quartet for our wedding...and just WOW...WOW...WOW! From the moment we hired them, the music selection process, to the actual event. We have no complaints whatsoever. The only complaint we had....WE WISH WERE GUESTS AT OUR OWN WEDDING to hear the beautiful music being played the entire time. The wedding entrance song was exactly how we wanted it to be--as well as the prelude and cocktail hour. Don't look to hire any other string quartet company--with the amount of music available to listen to online and their website..it's a no brainer..you pay for what you get. And even the costs was respectable. Look no further.

Strings during the ceremony were high priority for us, and Divisi was an extremely professional group of full time musicians that we were so happy we went with. They were able to accommodate our request of a flute along with strings, and Tony met with us in person to discuss music selection options best for that set up from a very large repertoire. They even had a great pianist who performed upbeat music on the venue’s piano during our cocktail hour. They wore tuxedos and black dresses. We never had to worry about them being in the right place at the right time, and I would recommend to anyone.

Divisi Strings is by far some of the best string quartet assembly I have ever heard. Since we met them back in 2018, we were amazed by their approachability, kindness and love for their art! We asked for them to make an arrangement of Dark Fantasy by Kanye West and it was by far one of my favorite parts in the wedding ceremony aside from saying our vows. If you have considered having strings but don’t want them to sound bland or uneventful, Divisi is the team you need! All of our guests loved them! They work with you and their music selection is out of this world. You have a little of everything in Pop and Modern Music. There are songs in their repertoire that you didn’t even know you needed to hear on strings. If it isn’t evident enough, my husband and I highly recommend Divisi! Now that they have Dark Fantasy, use it in your big day, it’s AMAZING.

I am SO impressed with Divisi Strings! All of my guests were raving! Amp'd played during my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour (2 locations), which included both classic songs and pop songs. Couldn't have asked for more beautiful music at our wedding. My husband and I gave them specific pieces that we wanted during the ceremony and they timed them perfectly as everyone walked down the aisle. We heard about Divisi through our wedding venue (Madera) when they had their open house. We weren't sure we were going to use a string quartet since our venue was equipped with an outdoor sound system, but there's nothing like the sight and sound of live music. Also, Tony S. was extremely helpful in walking us through the ceremony script to make sure his team would manage any real-time changes. Through starky temperatures, the quartet was dressed to impress and serenaded our guests before and during our ceremony and our also our cocktail hour. They were a perfect touch setting the tone before our main reception. We opted for the AMP'D package incorporating classical to the latest hits. They were absolutely fabulous! Book them early - they get busy!
